Safe & Secure Facilities

Little Incy’s, 3 months – up to 18 months

Our staff in Little Incy’s will endeavour to follow information provided by parents, such as sleep patterns and feeding routines.  We ask parents to provide own food and chosen milk until they are ready to have Nursery meals.  When your child is in Little Incy’s they will be involved in a variety of activities such as sand/water play, painting, food play and messy play, so no designer clothes please!

We adapt all activities in order to meet each child's individual needs.

Every day your child will have a ‘day sheet’ which will explain your child’s day, what they have eaten, how long they have slept etc.

Little Incy’s children will use the garden directly outside whenever possible, we have a swing, sand pit and a variety of toys to explore.

Jack and Jill’s, 2 years 6 months to 3 years

We provide a happy and stimulating environment for your child in Jack and Jill's.  Staff plan a varied curriculum for the children based around their individual interests.

Jack and Jill's join Mother Hubbard's children for daily 'free flow' sessions, where the children have free choice of activities for example, role playing as a fire fighter or making potions in the messy room.

Many children are still a little unsure with regard to toileting when they move to Jack and Jill’s and the staff within the room will help and encourage both you and your child to ensure a smooth transition into independence in this area.

Mother Hubbard’s 3 years to school age

Mother Hubbard’s offers an opportunity for the children getting ready for school to experience extended activities and new challenges enabling children to leave Rhymes confident and ready for school.  We help develop communication skills, concentration and general knowledge and understanding.  We encourage children to have good manners and respect for others.

We work closely with parents and outside agencies to ensure your children shine to the best of their ability.

Free Flow

Throughout our Pre-School floor we operate a ‘free flow’ system most of the day where children can access a wide range of resources, such as construction, messy play and role play.
